For the last two years it has not been possible for us to have our Family Camp on the hilltop behind the Temple. We have been sad about this, but it was a joyous time for Jenny Dent when she visited the campsite, not too far from New Lands, to which our families have been led. What thrilled and amazed Jenny was the feeling that at the inner level it was somehow an extension of the aura which encompasses the land at New Lands! We know that geography is not the same in spirit! Jenny also felt the very close angelic link with the beautiful land which surrounds our Temple of the Golden Rose in Texas. Rather like the land in Texas, our new campsite is set in many acres of beautiful park/woodland, and has views of the panorama of the South Downs (this whole area, in which New Lands is also set, has recently been designated a National Park and area of outstanding natural beauty).
Many campers came over to New Lands for the Family Service in the Temple and for a healing service later in the week, so that the physical link with New Lands is kept strong.
Besides it being enormous fun, there is a wonderful feeling of heart-felt connection with all people and with the natural world on the camp, and we give a very special thank you to our wonderful Family Helpers who have enabled so many adults and younger people to come together for a week under canvas and under the Star!
